Oddities from my art-book!

Hello you all!
I thought I'd share some oddities I create in my art-book. My art-book is a place where I create things in my actual art-style. But I haven't shared much or hardly anything related to it here on the blog, so you all might be interested in what my traditional style looks like now.

The works in the book are created when the idea strikes and are completely controlled by the way I feel and the impulses I get while drawing. There are hardly any thought behind any of the works, so it's all up to your imagination when it comes to figuring out what they mean or why they look the way they look. Some drawings may also be influenced by music, it they are, I'll make sure to let you know!

I will put down the material used for each piece as well when they are uploaded.

Inked with: Faber-Castell Drafting and Sketch pen (sizes; 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7) and Faber-Castell 4-PITT artist pen (sizes; S, F, M, B). 

Colored with: Fabre-Castell 6-PITT artist pen; Basic Brush Marker set. 

Highlights: White PentelArts, Hybrid Gel Grip Pen.

Sketched with: Faber-Castell 2H Pencil.

Inked with: Faber-Castell Drafting and Sketch pen (sizes; 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7) and Faber-Castell 4-PITT artist pen (sizes; S, F, M, B).
Colored with: Silver & White PentelArts, Hybrid Gel Grip Pen and Derwent Arts Colored pencils.

ARABIAN HORSES

Hey everyone!

Thank you all for the patience, here is some finished art studies of the Arabian horse. Without a doubt one of my favorite horse breeds. They are amazing, and they really have something majestic about them.

I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did while drawing these beauties!

I thought I'd update something finished for once since I tend to only have WIP's here.

School has been taking my precious time as well as everyday life and the gym. I lift weights now, aw yeah! Going to get myself a lean mean looking body. Once some serious results start showing I'll be sure to post a picture, I want to brag about my achievements a little bit at least.

A painted box... first digitally rendered painting I've ever done. I don't even.

Hello, as the title states. I just finished painting a box in Photoshop.
And I ended up painting it and rendering it quite a lot. I'm surprisingly happy with how this turned out, it scares me. I mean, wft is that?

Comic update! Sketchy sketch!

Heyo!

Here we go! Some comic art for once, just a rough doodle of the main characters design. I will get to scribbling some on her companion(the cow). I have changed the colors and such but the concept is still pretty much the same.

I'm going to experiment with the colors and see if I can find other designs that I like.

As you all can see she is very short!

ARTWORK! WOOOH!

Hello everyone!

It has been way to long since I last posted something art related on here for you guys to enjoy.

I have been busy with my new life stage which involves owning an apartment, eating right, working out, taking care of my dog, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry and preparing for school that is kicking into gear on the 19th. So a lot is going on. It has been hard for me to sit down, relax and just draw. So today, I made the effort and felt that I had the energy to do just that. Draw.

Below I have 2 drawings to show you all.

The drawing above is simply a dragon reading a book. The colors aren't balanced, or set in stone. So they are bound to change as I work on the piece and sleep on new ideas. I plan on painting it over a long period of time without stress and deadlines. Just something that I can work on however I want without pressure. I have yet to give it arms since I have no clue where to put em. One of those things I'll have to sleep on or figure out later, haha.

The character is nothing special, it's just a dragon basically. And the character will not be used in the future and the piece will simply be seen as portfolio work and possibly just general art work. No you may not use the character of claim it as your own. Everything on that drawing is mine so no stealing ;)

This is my friends character Hiniku. I owe her so much art for making her wait this long for her commission to be finished. Hopefully she will be happy and satisfied in the end. I may even need to print this and send it to her to forgive myself for taking so long. I feel terrible!
But there isn't much I can do now, except finish it. Life has been busy and difficult taking many sudden turns so it has been hard to focus on the right things in the right order.

Anyway, I will be finishing the lineart this weekend most likely unless someone kidnaps me for whatever reason.
